Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 February 2026

By using our services, you agree to these terms. We believe in being fair and transparent — no hidden clauses, just straightforward business.

1. Services

L1WebTips provides web design, SEO, and digital marketing services. We agree to perform these services in a professional manner and in accordance with generally accepted industry standards.

2. Payments & Billing

  • Web Design: A 50% deposit is required to commence work, with the remaining 50% due upon project completion and before the site goes live.
  • Monthly SEO/Maintenance: Services are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice date.
  • Late Payments: We reserve the right to suspend services or take down websites if payments are more than 30 days overdue.

3. Client Responsibilities

To deliver the best results, we need your help. You agree to:

  • Provide necessary content (text, images, branding) in a timely manner.
  • Review and provide feedback on drafts within agreed timeframes.
  • Provide access to necessary accounts (hosting, domain, analytics) as required.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment:

  • You own the copyright to your website design and all custom content we create for you.
  • We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio and marketing materials.
  • We retain ownership of any reusable code libraries or tools used in the project.

5. SEO Guarantee Disclaimer

While we use best-practice white-hat SEO techniques, no agency can guarantee specific Google rankings. Search algorithms change constantly. We guarantee our effort, strategy, and transparency — not a specific position on page one.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel monthly services at any time with 30 days' written notice. We do not refund payments for partial months.

7. Limitation of Liability

L1WebTips shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services, including lost profits or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
